Vista Murrieta Cheer is a year-round sport for all students in which the team supports the Football and Basketball. In addition, the Vista Murrieta Cheer Program also offers Stunt, which is open to non-cheer members and provides students the opportunity to compete against other Stunt teams across the state. 

VMHS Cheer is a year-long commitment with practices 3 times a week from 3:30 - 5:30pm. During Football Season, the Cheer team supports and attends games every Thursday (Freshmen/JV) and Friday (Varsity). Basketball Season games vary throughout January and February. 

Tryouts for the Cheer team are held at the end of March and practices begin immediately after tryouts. Tryouts for Stunt are held in November and our Stunt Team practices regularly from December to April.
